The JGCP636H is a RISE 36-inch gas rangetop with four burners and a grill, with JGCP636HL and JGCP636HM as matching variants. The grill gives indoor searing, which means it needs a capable hood above it.
Drippings are the story with any grill. They fall toward the burner and the igniter, slowing ignition and spoiling the flame. We therefore begin at the grill, checking spark, flame and the cleanliness of the area around the burner. The four open burners follow, then the valves. In case of gas odor, you should leave the house and call the gas utility from outside. We provide a written price before starting and stand behind the work for 30 days. Please clear the cabinet space below the rangetop, because valve and wiring checks often happen from there. Wiping the grill area after cooking also helps the igniter last.
