JennAir JMW2427L Noir Microwave Oven

The Noir JMW2427L is a 27-inch combination microwave wall oven, also sold as the JMW2427LL and JMW2427LM. It is meant for a built-in tower, with the glass front sitting flush alongside other Noir pieces in the kitchen.
Door latch switches are the first weak point on a combination unit, since they ride on every open and close. If the switches stop registering, both cooking sides can quit even though the heating parts are healthy, which makes the unit look far worse than it is. Pulling the unit forward is rarely needed, since most of these parts are reached through the door frame and control panel.
We test the latch chain, then the fan, then each cooking half in turn. A written price is yours before we replace a thing, and the work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
One of the door switches is probably worn or misaligned, or the latch is not pressing it fully. This is a common and inexpensive repair, and we align the latch while we replace the switch.
Heat is one reason, as an overworked cooling fan lets the unit shut itself down. A weak door switch can also drop power mid-cycle. We test both before suggesting anything bigger.
Most switch, fan and sensor jobs finish in a single visit if the part is on the truck. If a part must be ordered, we explain the timeline and price in writing first.
