JennAir JUW24FLECX Wine Cellar Fixed in Place
The JUW24FLECX is a 24-inch electric under counter wine cellar, also sold as the JUW24FRECX. It tends to appear in dining-room cabinetry and finished-basement bars where the wine collection is kept close to where it is served.
These cellars last for years, so wear tends to build slowly. We often find a fan with a worn bearing, a gasket that has flattened or dust that has choked the front airflow. We record the cabinet temperature, test the fan and sensor, and check that the compressor cycles normally. We also note the date of installation if you know it, because a cellar that has run several years is a better candidate for a new gasket or fan during the same visit.

A change in noise usually means a worn fan bearing or ice and debris touching the blades. We inspect and replace the fan before it fails completely.
