The JVR0436HS is the 36-inch Lustre canopy hood, rated at 550 CFM and set up for recirculation, so it mounts on the wall above a wide range or cooktop. The larger canopy covers more of the cooking surface than the 30-inch version.
Filtering without an exhaust duct places more demand on the filter media, and the wider canopy collects grease across a bigger surface.
