JennAir JXW8530DS Pyramid Hood Repair
The JXW8530DS is a pyramid-style canopy hood for wall mounting, 30 inches wide, and the right fit above a standard range. Visitors see the canopy shape, but the work is done by the blower, filters and damper behind it.
We start with filters and the blower, then test the controls and lamp sockets. If the hood does not seem to move air, we check the damper and the duct. Grease tends to gather in the housing corners of canopy hoods, so we clean those when the blower is exposed. For wall-mounted canopies, we also confirm the duct cover is secure, because a loose cover can buzz when the blower runs.
