Seen on JennAir wall ovens like the JJW2830DS or JJW8530DDS, F3E0 means there may be a problem with the Upper Oven Temperature Sensor, the control, or the associated wiring. The main oven sensor can read either open or shorted, and the code covers both conditions. Owners see F3E0 on the display, and the upper oven may stop heating or fail to preheat to the temperature you set.
1. Cancel the cycle and let the upper oven cool. 2. Shut the circuit breaker off for sixty seconds and restore it. 3. Try a short preheat in the upper oven only. 4. If F3E0 returns, stop using that cavity and call us. On a double oven, the lower oven may still work, but only if it shows no code of its own.
Either. The code covers a main oven sensor that reads open or shorted, so it does not tell you which. A technician measures the sensor to find out.
F3E0 names the upper oven sensor. The lower cavity has its own code, F3 E1, so a lower oven can be fine while the upper one is not.
We give the price in writing before starting, and the repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty. The total depends on whether the sensor or the control is the cause.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
