Greater Uptown's towers, townhomes and houses call us for JennAir built-in refrigerators, wine columns, wall ovens, cooktops, hoods and dishwashers. You can book by form or phone, and we answer with an arrival block of three hours.

Local housing, power events, water conditions, and installation styles all affect how we approach JennAir diagnostics here.
The Galleria, opened by Gerald Hines in 1970, started the upward trend, and Philip Johnson's 901-foot Williams Tower is the district's landmark. About 12,000 homes sit in buildings with 50 or more units, compared with roughly 6,300 detached houses, per census figures.
That ratio means many JennAir kitchens sit in condos governed by building rules. We ask for the building, the floor and the management contact before the visit.
Both condo towers and houses receive City of Houston water, though a tower typically routes it through pumps and pressure regulators first. That extra step shapes what reaches an upper-floor faucet.
When a JennAir dishwasher or ice maker fills slowly in a high-rise, we check the shutoff valve and inlet screen before suspecting the appliance. Low building pressure is something only management can fix, and we tell you when that is the case.
Hurricane Beryl came ashore in July 2024; over two million CenterPoint customers lost power, and for a few it lasted days. High-rise residents may face a warm refrigerator with no working elevator.
When the lights return, we inspect door gaskets and ice makers on a JennAir refrigerator and read any error saved on its control board. Wine columns need a few hours to settle, so we confirm they reach their set temperature before we leave.
18- or 24-inch dishwashers and counter-depth refrigerators are typical condo choices, and remodeled houses and newer townhomes more often go for full-size suites with a wall oven. Floor plans in the towers leave very little spare room around any appliance.
A counter-depth JennAir refrigerator or slim dishwasher leaves almost no margin for error in a condo cutout. The model plate tells us which brackets and panels to bring on the first trip.
Uptown towers often set their own contractor rules, including insurance certificates, reserved service elevators and fixed work windows. The front desk at many of them needs the technician’s name ahead of time. Pass along the management office contact and we handle the paperwork ahead of time.
A hood or downdraft duct serving a high floor runs long and gathers grease, and in many towers that duct belongs to the building. If a hood barely pulls or a downdraft cooktop leaves smoke behind, we check the fan and filters first and trace the duct as far as access allows. A weak draw from a shared duct, or a dedicated circuit that trips, needs building management or an electrician before we replace a part.

Yes. Send the management contact and the wording the building requires, and the certificate goes out ahead of the visit so the front desk can approve our technician.
Check that the filters are clean and the vent cover opens fully. Smoke that lingers despite that points to a weak fan or a restricted duct, which we trace before quoting.
Let it sit a few hours and confirm both sections reach temperature. If the fresh-food side stays warm or the display shows an error, call us and we test the board and fans.
