JennAir JGC3215GS Two-Burner Gas Cooktop Repair

Compact and flexible, the JGC3215GS offers two gas burners in a 15-inch stainless cooktop, a size that fits a bar, a secondary prep area or a small kitchen where a full-width cooktop would not fit. It also works as a companion to another cooktop module in a longer counter run.
With only two burners to work with, a failure on one is noticeable at once. Our routine is to clean both burner heads and caps, dry the igniters, and check the spark module for continuous clicking. If one side keeps misbehaving, we compare the two valves and igniters to find the weak one.
If you smell gas, leave the house and call the gas utility from outside right away. A written price comes before the work, and the finished repair is covered by our 30-day workmanship warranty.
The shared parts are working, so the problem is limited to the right burner's igniter, cap or port. We test the spark on that side and clean the burner before replacing parts.
The igniter is reading moisture or residue, and keeps sparking. Turn off the burner, wipe around the igniter when cool and dry it. If clicking continues, we test the spark module.
Not at all. The parts are similar, only fewer. Access is often easier, so many repairs finish in a single visit. Many repairs finish in one visit.
