Why did the controls on my combination oven freeze?

Heat is a common cause. A blocked cooling fan lets the board overheat, and it may lock up until it cools. We clean the airflow path and test the board before suggesting a replacement.

Can you fix the oven side without touching the microwave?

Yes. The oven element, sensor and fan are separate from the microwave circuit. We keep the repair confined to the half that has failed whenever the wiring allows.

Does the RISE finish affect repair time?

Not much. The work follows the same path as other combination units, though we take extra care with the glass door and trim so they are returned in the condition we found them.
