JennAir Beverage Center Code CL or LO: Internal Temperature Too Low

What CL or LO means

On JennAir undercounter beverage centers such as the JUBFL242HX, CL or LO means the internal temperature has dropped too low. The display shows it when the compartment is colder than expected, often after the door stood open a long time, a big load of warm items went in, or the power was out and has just returned. In most cases the temperature settles on its own.

Common causes of CL or LO

The door was left open or is not sealing fully
A large load of warm or room-temperature items was added
A recent power outage left the temperature swinging until it stabilizes
A control or temperature sensor problem if the code stays on a closed, steady unit

1. Check that the door is fully closed and nothing blocks the gasket. 2. Think back: was it just restocked, or did the power go out? If so, give it a few hours to stabilize. 3. Turn the unit's power off, wait about a minute, and turn it back on. 4. If CL or LO is still showing after a full day with the door closed, schedule service.
