On JennAir dishwashers such as the JDTSS247HS or JDAF3924RX, the Control Lock light flashes three times when you press any button while the controls are locked. It is a setting, not a defect. Press and hold the Control Lock button for three seconds, depending on the model, to unlock. If that does not work, Sleep Mode may be on, and you can wake it by pressing Start/Resume or Cancel, or by opening and closing the door.

Then try the Control Lock hold again. 4. If the light still flashes and nothing responds, turn the breaker off for a minute and on, and call us if it persists.
That is how the dishwasher tells you the controls are locked. Any button press is ignored and answered with three quick flashes, so nothing is wrong with the machine.
Hold the Control Lock button for three seconds. Some models differ slightly, so keep holding until the light stops flashing, then try a normal button to confirm it responds.
