The F2 E3 code appears on JennAir electric, gas and dual-fuel ranges like the JDS1750ML when the user interface or keypad, the control, or the wiring that links them may have a problem. The message is close kin to F2 E2. Look for a flashing code, pads that ignore touches, or an oven that refuses to start. The touch panel and the board behind it both need testing to find the cause.
1. Press Cancel and give the range a minute. 2. Cycle the range breaker off and on, leaving it off for about sixty seconds. 3. Press the pads gently, one at a time, and note which ones respond. 4. When F2 E3 appears again, leave the controls alone. 5. Call us and tell us which pads work.
A surge can upset any electronic control, but the code itself only names the keypad, control or wiring. We test all three before we say what failed.
Not always. If the keypad alone is the cause, a smaller repair may work. We tell you what we found and quote a written price before any part is ordered.
On many ranges the burners have their own controls, but we cannot confirm that for every model. If any burner acts strangely, switch the breaker off and call us.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
