We repair JennAir column refrigeration, wine units, wall ovens, cooktops and dishwashers in River Oaks and Afton Oaks. Book a visit on our site or by phone, naming whoever will let us in.

Local housing, power events, water conditions, and installation styles all affect how we approach JennAir diagnostics here.
River Oaks came from Will and Mike Hogg with Hugh Potter, and its deed restrictions steered the look of each house. Single-story ranches filled most of Afton Oaks from 1951 through 1959; many are now gone, replaced by larger new homes.
In houses this old, the wiring behind cabinetry and trim can predate the appliance, so we test the circuit at the outlet before we pull a wall oven forward. Whoever lets us in should know where the panel and shutoff valves are.
Both neighborhoods get City of Houston water, a mix of treated surface water and deep-well groundwater. Average hardness runs near 8 grains per gallon, according to the city.
Over time that level leaves a film on dishwasher spray arms and inside the boiler of a built-in coffee system. Rinse aid and scheduled descaling prevent most service calls.
Along the north edge of River Oaks lies Buffalo Bayou, and in 2017 Harvey flooded part of the neighborhood so severely that its own patrol joined the rescues. Summer storms also topple lines under the big live oaks.
A hard restart after an outage commonly blanks a wall oven display, and a refrigerator that sat dark needs time to chill. Anything low that took bayou water should be tested before it is energized.
Column refrigeration, double wall ovens, induction cooktops and panel-ready dishwashers anchor remodeled kitchens here. These integrated units depend on custom door panels and close cabinet tolerances.
That is where JennAir is at home, and where a repair must respect the millwork around it. We plan door removal, panel weight and cabinet protection before anything comes out.
Owners are often away when we visit, so a housekeeper, builder or property manager typically meets us. Tell us who that is and whether a service gate beats the front entrance. Weekday mornings bring landscaping crews to Inwood and Lazy Lane, so let us know where our truck can wait.
Equipment fitted during whole-house renovations is often years from its first service, and a panel-ready door is the first thing to drift out of line. Ahead of a large dinner, schedule the oven’s self-clean a week early and rinse the dishwasher’s tub filter. When a breaker trips on a freshly wired kitchen circuit, an electrician should look before we replace a part.

Usually. The panel hangs on adjustable hardware, so we realign it and recheck the door seal; the cabinet shop only needs to be involved if trim must change.
The grease filter, the blower and the duct run underneath. A long duct under a slab or floor loses suction, so we also check that the flap opens.
A hard reset often clears it. Switch the breaker off for sixty seconds. A screen still dark afterward means we test the control board and incoming supply.
