JennAir wall ovens such as the JJW2427DS and JJW8530DDS show 3d32 as a request to verify the meat probe is securely inserted in the meat probe receptacle. Where that receptacle sits depends on the oven. The message shows up when the control does not detect the probe properly during a probe cycle. It most often shows up on roasts and poultry.
1. Cancel the cycle and let the oven cool. 2. Take out the probe and dry the plug. 3. Reinsert it all the way until it seats firmly. 4. Resume the probe cycle. If 3d32 comes back, use a timed bake and call us.
If the probe plug works loose from heat or movement, the control loses the signal and posts the code. Seat it firmly before closing the door.
Only one designed for your oven. A generic probe may not communicate with the control. We can check whether yours is the correct type. Using the original probe also protects the receptacle from bent pins.
Not directly. The oven just cannot track internal temperature without the probe. Use a separate food thermometer to confirm doneness if the cycle was interrupted.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
