On JennAir built-in wall ovens including the JJW2830LL and JJW9830DDP, the 3d41 message asks you to verify the meat probe is securely inserted in the meat probe receptacle. Receptacle location varies by oven. The control displays 3d41 when it cannot find the probe signal during a probe cycle, and the cycle may pause. Once the probe seats properly, the cycle usually resumes with no repair.
1. Use Cancel to end any cycle and pause a little while. 2. Inspect the probe cord for kinks or burn marks. 3. Wipe the plug and push it firmly into the receptacle. 4. Restart the cycle. If 3d41 persists, bake without the probe and call us.
All three probe messages carry the same instruction, to verify the probe is seated. The digits are the control's labels, and the checks are the same.
Plugs can look fine and still have dirt or a weak contact. Try cleaning and reseating once. If it keeps failing, the probe or receptacle needs testing.
No. The cleaning cycle is far too hot for the probe. Remove it before any self-clean and store it away from the heat. Leaving it in can melt the cord insulation and damage the receptacle.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
