On JennAir built-in wall ovens such as the JJW2830DS, JJW2427DS and JJW9830DDP, 9d52 points to the door latch assembly, the door switch, or the wiring that connects them. The oven control is not getting the door signal it expects. You will see the code on the display, and the oven may refuse to start a cycle or may stop one that is already running.
1. Press Cancel and open the oven door fully, then close it firmly. 2. Check the door seal for foil or a pan handle. 3. Turn the oven breaker off, count to sixty, and turn it on so the door latch circuit check starts fresh. 4. Try a short bake to see whether the code returns. 5. If 9d52 comes back, stop using the oven and call us about the door latch circuit.
Usually the oven will not start a timed cycle while the control cannot confirm the door. Try closing the door firmly and clearing the display. If the code returns, the latch or switch needs a check.
On JennAir wall ovens all three codes are described the same way, as a door latch, door switch or wiring problem. The digits tell a technician which check the control made, so tell us exactly what is displayed.
Yes. We confirm which part needs replacing, give you a written price, and only then start work. Our repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty. Ask about the warranty on the new latch when we give the quote.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
