JennAir built-in wall ovens including the JJW2830DS and JJW2427DS show F01 when there may be a problem with the oven temperature sensor, the control, or the wiring that links them. The control relies on that sensor to know how hot the cavity is. You will see F01 on the display, and the oven may stop heating or give uneven results.
1. Press Cancel to clear the display. 2. Let the oven cool completely if it was hot. 3. Go to the electrical panel, switch the oven circuit off for a minute, and switch it on to retry the oven sensor. 4. Set a short bake at 350 degrees and watch for the code. 5. Still seeing F01? Stop here and call for service on the oven sensor.
It means the temperature sensor circuit is suspect. The cause may be the sensor, the control or the wiring, which is why we test the circuit before replacing anything.
Use caution. A clear display does not mean the sensor is healthy, and a bad reading can overheat the cavity. If the code returns, stop using the oven.
Sensors are usually a modest part compared with replacing a wall oven. We give you a written price after diagnosis and warrant our work for 30 days.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
