The JennAir flush-mount dishwasher for European cabinets, for example the JDB9600AW, displays E:03 when the power module has an internal problem with the relay for the auxiliary heater. The washing part still runs, but the auxiliary drying system does not operate. Expect plates that come out damp at the end of the cycle and E:03 on the display. The remaining program steps are not affected.
1. Try a one-minute power reset at the breaker. 2. Prop the door open a hand's width after a program to let moisture escape. 3. Run another program to see if E:03 returns. 4. If it does, you can keep using the machine for washing, but call us for the module. Never open the control area yourself.
It is an extra heating step that helps dry dishes after the final rinse. When its relay is defective, the machine skips that step and reports E:03.
The listed result is only that it operates without the auxiliary drying. Washing still works. Still, an electrical module problem is best checked by a technician soon.
It helps a little. Open the door slightly once the program ends and the steam has settled. Wipe any water from glass and plastic before putting things away.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
