On JennAir built-in wall ovens such as the JJW2830DS and JJW2427DS, 9d11 means there may be a problem with the oven door latch assembly, the door switch, or the wiring. The 9d group collects the lock and door checks. The display shows 9d11, and the oven may not heat or may fail to unlock. Combination ovens with a microwave section list it too. A closed door that the oven treats as open is the usual story.
1. End the cycle with Cancel and stand by for sixty seconds. 2. Open the door, check the seal, and close it firmly. 3. Turn off the breaker for two minutes, then on. 4. If 9d11 comes back, call us before using the oven again.
The control groups its checks by letter and digit. 9d codes in this family all deal with the door latch assembly, the door switch or the wiring.
Do not pull hard. Wait for the oven to cool, try a power reset, and call us if it stays locked. We can free it without damage.
It is the first of a run, from 9d11 to 9d51, that share the same meaning. Each is handled the same way in our diagnosis.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
