On JennAir built-in wall ovens like the JJW2830DS and JJW2427DS, Demo Mode is a store display setting. It lets someone try the screens and options without turning on the heating elements. The display typically shows the time while it is active. If your oven looks normal but never gets hot, this setting may be switched on in the Tools menu.

Common causes of Demo Mode

It may be in Demo Mode, which keeps the elements off so the oven can be shown in a store. Switch it off under Tools, Info, Store Demo Mode.
