JennAir JOEDC730R V2 Double Oven
The JOEDC730R is a RISE 30-inch double wall oven with V2 vertical dual-fan convection, and the JOEDC730RL and JOEDC730RM are the same base model. It is the kind of oven that gets built into a statement cabinet wall.
Four fans across two cavities give this oven more motors to age than a basic double. Fans most often fail from grease and from slow bearing wear, and the first sign is an air flow that sounds a little different from the day it was installed. Cleaning the fan blades during the visit is part of the job, and it often quiets a motor that sounded worse than it was.
We test every fan individually, read both sensors against our thermometer, and verify the latch. Your written price comes before any part order, and each repair is warranted for 30 days of workmanship.
V2 uses two vertical fans in each convection system. If one is silent or rough, food will brown unevenly, and we can confirm which fan has failed by running them separately.
Each cavity is independent, so we test the upper one alone. A failing element, sensor or fan there does not mean anything is wrong with the lower oven.
Cleaning heat is very high and ages sensors, hinges and the lock over time. If a part has failed after a cleaning cycle, we replace it and tell you if the cycle is advisable going forward.
