The JUD248CWRS is a 24-inch refrigerator/freezer drawer unit that also provides filtered ice, and it is commonly seen in an island, a wet bar or a family room cabinet. With one drawer for refrigeration and one for freezing, it behaves like two small appliances sharing a cooling system.
Over time, the front seals lose flexibility and the drawers are pushed shut with a little extra force, leaving a thin gap at one corner. Frost then forms along that edge. We inspect the seals, test the slides and measure both temperatures before we open the cooling area.
