Where is the service door?

It is on the front of the coffee system. The brewing unit and the grounds container sit behind it, so it opens for cleaning. It clears right after.

Why will it not brew with the door open?

The machine does not allow brewing while the service door is open. Closing it firmly clears the message and lets you carry on. Check nothing sticks out.

What if the door is closed and the message stays?
