The JES1750ML is a 30-inch electric downdraft slide-in range from the RISE line, finished in stainless steel. The downdraft vent takes the place of an overhead hood, which makes this model a common pick for islands and peninsulas where a hood would block the room.
That vent is the part that ages differently from any other electric range. Grease collects on the filter and in the duct, the blower slows, and the rising vent can stick or move unevenly.
