A 1d12 message on a JennAir range such as the JIS1450DS or JDS1750ML says the oven temperature sensor, the control, or the wiring in the sensor circuit may have a problem. In the oven you will usually see a stopped cycle and a code in place of the temperature. It belongs to the same 1d family as 1d11, 1d21 and 1d22.
1. Open the oven door and let the cavity cool down. 2. Press Cancel and close the door. 3. Cut power at the breaker for sixty seconds, then restore it. 4. Run a brief Bake test. 5. If 1d12 shows again, call us and do not continue baking.
They share the same meaning: the oven temperature sensor, the control or the wiring. On site we use extra tests to find out which of the three actually failed.
The control keeps checking the sensor while the oven runs. If the reading disappears or jumps, it stops heating and shows the code, even partway through a recipe.
We inspect the sensor, its wiring and the control, explain what we found, and give you a written price. Approved repairs come with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
