What 4d12 means

JennAir ranges such as the JIS1450DS or JDS1750ML show 4d12 when the oven door latch assembly, the door switch, or the associated wiring may have a problem. It reads just like 4d11 on the owner's side. The oven door may feel normal, yet the control will not accept the signal that tells it the door is shut. The oven door may look and feel normal while this is showing.

The latch assembly is worn or jammed
A door switch fails to register the closed door
Wiring to the latch is open or loose
