On older-style JennAir ranges such as the JES1750FS or JGRP430WP, F1-C means the oven door latch, the door lock switch, or the wiring may have a problem. The control cannot confirm the door lock state. The oven may refuse to bake or clean, and the door may stay locked or fail to lock. Expect the clock to disappear while the code is up.
1. Let the oven cool completely. 2. Try the door gently, without forcing it. 3. Close it firmly and press Cancel. 4. Turn the range off at the breaker for a minute and restore power. 5. If F1-C returns, call us.
