On JennAir ranges with electronic oven control, such as the JES1750FS, JDS1750ML or JGRP430WP, F3 E0 says the oven temperature sensor, the control, or the wiring tied to them may have a problem. The control relies on that sensor to know how hot the cavity is. Without a reliable reading it displays F3 E0 and may stop heating or end the cycle.
1. Switch the oven off and let it cool for 30 minutes. 2. Turn the range breaker off for a minute, then back on, to clear a one-time glitch. 3. Look inside for anything touching the sensor probe at the back of the cavity and take out loose items. 4. If F3 E0 returns on the next heat-up, stop and call us.
It tells the control how hot the cavity is so the oven can hold your set temperature. A bad reading throws off heating, which is why the control raises F3 E0.
If the control cannot trust the sensor, it ends the cycle for safety rather than guess. The code stays until the reading is back to normal or a technician finds the cause.
It can clear a one-time glitch. If the code appears again as soon as you heat the oven, the sensor, control or wiring still needs testing. We will explain the finding before pricing a repair.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
