On JennAir electric, gas and dual-fuel ranges with electronic oven control, such as the JES1750FS or JDS1750ML, the words Call Service appear when the control has detected an error. Press Cancel to reset it first. If the message is still shown after Cancel, reset the power to the range. The message is general and does not name a part. The words appear on the display in place of the clock.
1. Press the Cancel pad or button. 2. If Call Service stays, turn the range off at the breaker for one minute. 3. Restore power and wait for the display to start. 4. Try a short Bake at 350 degrees. 5. If the message returns, stop using the oven and call us. On gas models, if you smell gas, leave and call the utility.
Press Cancel. If the message goes away, you can keep using the range, but watch for a repeat. If it stays, reset power at the breaker for a minute.
No. It means the control found an error. Many are minor, but a message that returns after a reset needs a technician to find the cause.
We check the range, find which function raised the message, and give you a written price before any work. Repairs carry our 30-day workmanship warranty.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
