On JennAir electric, gas and dual-fuel ranges with electronic oven control, such as the JES1750FS and JDS1750ML, F0 E0 appears when the control detects a problem but cannot work out what kind. The cause may sit in a part of the oven control system, the electronic control itself, or the wiring between them. The oven stops the cycle and shows the code. On RISE and NOIR pro-style ranges the same F0E0 simply reports that a system check found no error.
1. Press Cancel or turn the oven knob off. 2. Switch the range off at its breaker for one minute, then restore power. 3. Set the clock and start a short bake to see whether the code returns. 4. On a pro-style range with no cooking problem, note that F0E0 can be an all-clear message. A code that returns on a standard range needs a technician. Gas ranges: with any gas smell, leave the house and call the gas utility from outside.
On RISE and NOIR pro-style ranges that code reports that the system check came back clean. If the range cooks normally, it is information and not a breakdown.
Sometimes a one-minute breaker reset clears a one-time glitch. If the code returns on a standard range, the control or its wiring needs testing, so book a visit.
No. The older hyphenated and two-digit codes follow a different scheme. This page covers the F-and-E generation found on current slide-in, downdraft and pro-style ranges, so check your display wording against it.
