JennAir electric and gas ranges with the F#E# display, including the JES1750FS, show F1 E7 when the appliance control board, or the wiring running to it, may have a problem. This points to a different board than the oven control codes. The oven stops, the keypad may behave oddly, and the pair of characters stays on the screen. Because the message is general, the board and its connections both need testing.
1. Press Cancel once and wait. 2. Shut the range off at the breaker for a full minute, then turn it back on. 3. Start a quick Bake to see whether it heats. 4. If F1 E7 returns, stop using the oven and phone us. 5. Keep the range where it is and keep the panels closed.
F1 E7 names the appliance control board, while F1 E1 and F1 E2 name the oven control. That is the entry we follow when we diagnose your range.
That depends on the model and how the range is built. We cannot promise it. If the cooktop acts strangely too, switch it off at the breaker and call us.
We check the board and its wiring, then show you a written price. You approve it first. The repair is covered by our 30-day workmanship warranty.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
