On JennAir electric, gas and dual-fuel ranges like the JDS1750ML and JES1750FS, F8 E0 means the cooling fan speed is too low. There may be an airflow restriction, a problem with the oven cooling fan, or the wiring. The control watches how fast the fan turns, and when it runs under speed, it posts F8 E0 and ends the cycle to protect the electronics.
1. Cancel the cycle, then wait for the range to cool. 2. Clear the area around the range of boxes, towels or trays that block ventilation. 3. Shut off the range breaker for a full minute and switch it back on. 4. Start a short bake and listen for steady airflow. If the fan sounds weak or the code returns, call us.
Blocked airflow is one of the listed causes, so check the vents around the range first. Dust packed around the fan can also slow it, and we can clear that safely during a visit.
Without enough airflow the electronics can overheat, so the control stops the cycle when it sees the fan running under speed. That protects the control boards and the cabinetry.
A reset may clear it after the range cools, but if the restriction or a tired fan motor is still the cause, the code returns the next time the fan runs under speed.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
