FC E2 on JennAir ranges with electronic oven control and Wi-Fi, such as the JIS1450DS or JDS1750ML, shares its official meaning with FC E1: the range could not connect to the router. A time-out, poor signal, a failed router, the range's Wi-Fi module, or the associated wiring can be behind it. You will see FC E2, and the connected features stay offline while normal cooking continues.
1. Shut off the range at the breaker for one full minute, then restore power. 2. Give it another minute and see whether FC E2 shows again. 3. Power-cycle the router and confirm your phone connects to it. 4. Try pairing the range again, ideally with the router close by.
The wording is the same. The last digit lets a technician see which connection check ended in error, so give us the full code if you call and we will note it.
No. The oven and cooktop work as usual. Only the connected functions are down while the code is showing, and normal cooking is not interrupted at all.
Not yet. Restart the router first and check another device. If the network is fine and FC E2 repeats, call us and we will look at the range itself.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
